Creative Writing Workshop Outcome.....

So my mother, Deloris Pickens, took a creative writing workshop back in 2003.  She has chronicled her life, growing up in the 20's-30's.  I talked her into converting it into blog, and it is some interesting reading.  Eventually in the story, she'll get into the sewing machine business, her and my father created.  But until that portion of the story comes out, come on over and take a taste of my mom's life at:
